With a diverse profile ranging from handling brands like Cartoon network and pogo, Customer value management at Standard chartered bank, Mindshar etc.It was indeed an Interaction to look forward to.

MARKETEER a.k.a INNOVATOR
Mr. Thukral simply stated marketing as Exciting Customers enough to make them spend money on your product/service. He talked about Steve Jobs as his inspiration and how he has revolutionarized the brand APPLE through his great marketing and product launching skills. Over a course of time , how jobs can become boring and monotonous if one doesn’t have the innovative and entrepreneurial attitude.
BUSINESS BEYOND PROFITS
Some amazing facts were discussed as how come RCB being a Loss making business, is still being carried on by UB? Mr Thukral explained the concept of the business plan potential for RCB in next 3 -4 years on how its more about the BRAND EQUITY of a flamboyant image of a Lifestyle Brand like UB. Examples were given like how Samsung might be more value for money but still people prefer Apple because of their positioning in the market.
THE INTERACTION
It was one of the Best and the Longest Question answer session that we ever attended. Insights were given on how market skimming works, why is it all the more a bigger challenge when it comes to surrogate marketing, How does sports marketing works in India and whats the future in IPL and other franchises.
